Little gem salad with buttermilk rose dressing
Ingredients:
2-3 Little gem lettuce heads, washed, dried & cut in half
1 Cup buttermilk
1/4 mayo
1 Teaspoon rose water (Available in many high end grocery stores!)
Pinch of flaky sea salt
Pinch of fresh pepper
2 Pinches sumac
2 Tablespoons fresh mint, roughly chopped
Directions:
Combine all the dressing ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
Drizzle the dressing over the gems lettuces & garnish with fresh mint & a pinch of sumac.
